Team Head Player Stefan Kozlov Wins Orange Bowl
The fourth time is the charm. After reaching three previous Orange Bowl finals, Team HEAD Player Stefan Kozlov finally had reason to celebrate by winning the Boys’ 18 singles title at the Metropolia Orange Bowl International Tennis Championship this weekend. The 16-year-old, who recommends the HEAD Radical racquet, is looking back on a successful year: He made history by becoming the youngest American to break the Top 500 since Michael Chang in 1989, and was also the youngest US finalist at an ATP Challenger Tournament since Change and Andre Agassi in 1989.
Kozlov’s victory, which also included the Boys’ 18 doubles title, was not the only success for a Team HEAD player at the Metropolia Orange Bowl International Tennis Championship this year. Canada’s Bianca Andreescu claimed the Girls’ 16 singles title while Estonia’s Mattias Siimar came in second in the Boys’ 16 singles competition.
